Made from the way I learned to play
I originally wrote Canasta101 from memory, based on the game I learned and played with family. That personal history is still the heart of the site.
Over time, I realized the website needed a better way to help people at the table – not just while they were reading online. So I turned the Canasta101 rules into a visual guide you can print, keep with the cards, and actually use during game night.
My goal is simple: make the game easier to learn, easier to score, and easier to enjoy together.

Do I need to print all 28 pages?

Which rules does it follow?
It follows the Canasta101 American Canasta rules. The primary two-player game uses 15 cards each, draw two, discard one, two completed canastas to go out, and a 5,000-point target. Common variations are labeled so groups can agree before play.
